Data regarding the beginning of the roman settlement from Cioroiul Nou, Dolj county

Edifices belonging to the Roman settlement from the beginning of the 2 nd century have not been identified at Cioroiul Nou so far. Presumably, these could have been replaced by others, belonging to subsequent settlement levels. It is true that the field research is still at the beginning.
However, there are material traces which suggest that the Roman settlement at Cioroiul Nou began in the first years of the Roman domination in Dacia. I am referring concretely to pottery, inscriptions, coins and lamps.
