The establishment of this legionary camp begins during the Dacian wars (probably after the first war) and it ends at the beginning of Hadrian's reign - at a time when only one legion remains in Dacia, at Apulum.
Up to the present, little research has been done at the camp from Berzobis, one of the foremost reasons being its position in the district area (Berzobia, Caras-Severin County). The last years' researches took place in the vicinity of the commandment, where two wood and one stone construction phases may be observed. Traces of several stone buildings appear in other areas of the camp as well, which indicates that some of the wood constructions had been already altered with the stone ones, even before legion IV Flavia Felix left to the south of the Danube. Regarding the fortification system, although it is mentioned only one earth rampart, it seems that to this one it had been added at a later time a stone wall.
