- abstract -

During the researches on the SE side of the Pomet fort terraces, a part of the settlement's Forum has been investigated, designating the center of the roman town from Porolissum. Under the Forum's structures, some elements indicating the presence of an early military construction have been discovered, from this layer being recuperated, from a nearly one square meter surface, a glass deposit. This deposit has a total weight of 5 kg, the heterogenic character of the pieces leading us to the conclusion that it has been constructed with the intention of glass collecting. The wares from the deposit confirm an early dating coming from the workshops which have functioned during Trajan's time.
