Among the vast number of inscriptions coming from the newly conquest province of Dacia, there are some of particular interest: the "doublet" inscriptions, which mean two identical inscriptions on two different monumental supports. Analysing this phenomenon at the scale of Dacia Superior, we come to the conclusion that at some point a peculiar epigraphic habit developed within the province: the dedication of a statue and an altar to the same divinity.
